50 Greatest Samples Of All Time – The Playlist

vinyl

A couple of weeks ago I tweeted about the fantastic 50 Greatest Samples Of All Time by Kon & Amir over on complex.com (read it). It is a comprehensive list with a nice bit of editorial about each post, the only problem is that you have to navigate about the site and click play on every song which means it is a bit time consuming and difficult to just listen to in the background whilst you are procrastinating in the office or surfing porn at home.

To solve the problem I thought I would make it into a Spotify playlist (we haven’t done on of them for a while). A lot of the tracks were available on spotify but a surprisng amount weren’t. Either way, the result is a pretty good playlist with the original songs and their hip-hop offsprings after them whenever possible.

Stick it on and reminisce/discover/be inspired/be surprised/all the aformentioned.
