Frond - Daybreak Cyan

This evocative project comes straight from the humble heart of Richard Bultitude (otherwise known as Point B). With Frond he attempts to paint a series of delicate, pensive scenes that explore the space between post rock and downtempo electronica. The sound tiptoes between sweet innocence and aching lament whilst avoiding indulgent introspection.

The brand and imagery used on the debut EP ‘Daybreak Cyan’ serves to reinforce the themes of tradition, old technology and the documentation of the past. Inspired by other people’s discarded photographs and postcards Frond is a project that has plenty of life in it. Future releases may be of a more ambient nature as Richard begins to explore the rich and fertile land of nostalgia still further.
