Geoff Barrow works on Krauty project

beak

Geoff Barrow of Portishead is always worth keeping an eye on. Recently reinventing Portishead into a doom-laden behemoth and shortly after pulling a similar trick with The Horrors giving them a shoegazey, krautrock makeover.

Now with two other Bristolian musicians (Billy Fuller and Matt Williams) he has started an all new project, Beak. Now for the bit I have copied and pasted

The band have very strict guidelines governing the recording and writing process of their work. The music was recorded live in one room with no overdubs or repair, only using edits to create arrangements. All tracks were written over a twelve-day session in SOA Studio’s, Bristol. The album is to be released on Invada records UK and Europe.
