The latest in our series of interviews is with Gentle Friendly. Their lo-fi, droney, looped up live show has proved an irresistible pull for me in the past and recent high profile support slots imply that word is spreading.

Earlier this month I was lucky enough to see Mount Kimbie performing with James Blake in Berlin. Mount Kimbie have gained a well deserved following on the strength of two 12″s on Hot Flush but James Blake was a new name to me. Together they put on a great show sharing vocal duties and swapping instruments throughout.
